Fashion For Life is an annual event supporting Second Life's Relay For Life campaign to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
The 2014 session will run from June 7th midnight SLT through June 20th midnight SLT.
The mission of Fashion For Life is to maximize donations to the American Cancer Society via the SL Relay For Life while creating a great sales environment for in-world avatar content.
Efforts and funds committed to Fashion For Life go to support American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Participants are entirely volunteer driven and 100% of the funds raised are presented as a charitable donation to American Cancer Society from the residents of Second Life.
The event will cover 10 sims. Clothing, jewelry, skin, hair, accessory and pose creators will participate to help raising funds for the many programs of the American Cancer Society to support cancer research, promote cancer prevention, provide assistance to people living with cancer and ultimately cure cancer.
I am very proud to take part to this event and helping to promote work done by the talented participating creators who are volunteering their talent to help others and give them an additional opportunity to beat this disease.
A family member, a friend, a loved one or an acquaintance: we all know someone who is affected by cancer. They count on us!
